Cigna announced yesterday that the myCigna.com site has replaced the myCignaforHealth.com site which was used for locating providers. The old site will automatically redirect users to the new site until the end of 2014. Members will need to register in order to utilize the new site and take advantage of the enhanced features which are available. The new site delivers all of the benefits your employees (enrolled members) are used to from myCignaforHealth.com, plus easier access and navigation, and additional tools and features to help them stay healthy.
- Download and circulate the mycigna.com ‘Users Guide’ that explains the new features of myCigna.com.
- Download and circulate the ‘Find a Healthcare Professional Flyer’ which explains how to locate a healthcare provider on the new site.
- If you offer a link to the public (unsecured) provider directory on your own website, please update it to the public directory on Cigna.com. Members should click on “Select a plan for your search” and then select the “PPO, Choice Fund PPO” network.
Please make sure your employees know the new site is available. The first time employees use myCigna.com, they’ll need to register. Once they do, their information will show up automatically when they log in.
